Indigenous Healing Center: Donate Now & Save Lives

Tax deductible
YOUR SUPPORT IS URGENTLY NEEDED !!!    DONATE NOW & SAVE LIVES !!!

Be a healing part of the long and sacred history of the  Oglala Sioux Tribe and join us - alongside Naca (Chief) Rudy Escamilla-Tenfingers, a Holy Man and Sundance Chief - in raising up a much-needed Ceremony House and Healing Center.

THE  SOLUTION  A SACRED SPACE FOR HEALING TRAUMA & RESTORING DIGNITY

The 5 Star Healing and Resource Center will be located on the Pine Ridge Reservation in Hisle, South Dakota near The Badlands National Park.  In Hisle - where Naca (Chief) Rudy lives and holds the Sacred 5 Star Sundance and 5 Star Bundle - many people have found their healing from deadly disease.  The Healing and Resource Center will therefore create a space where all those who seek healing can live again, free of suffering.

It will do so by providing a sacred space for ancient indigenous healing practices and cultural ceremony - as well as accommodation for those from abroad on pilgrimage to Pine Ridge in search of their own healing of mind, body and spirit.

THE PROBLEM  GENERATIONAL TRAUMA

The residual impact of 19th CENTURY FEDERAL POLICIES that led to the genocide, acculturation and physical control of the Sioux can still be witnessed today. These policies - intended to appropriate land for white landowners - all but destroyed the tribes culture, language, identity and sense of belonging.  The physical, sexual, emotional and psychological abuse that ensued left their people in despair and without hope - leading to chronic, generational trauma.

As a result, CURRENT CONDITIONS on the Pine Ridge reservation are as follows: 1.  Unemployment rate exceeds 80% 2. Highest suicide rate of all federally recognized reservations 3. Life expectancy the second lowest in the Western Hemisphere (BEHIND HAITI) 4. 80 - 90% suffer from alcoholism 5. 25% of children born with fetal alcohol syndrome 6. Tuberculosis and diabetes rates are 8 times the national average 7. Cervical cancer rate is 5 times the national average 8. Forgotten by mainstream society 9. Abandoned by politicians 10. Neglected by state institutions 11. And most have no running water or electricity.

THE  ASK  Please join us in this sacred effort by donating to this building project today!  Your help in this tremendously powerful endeavor will be greatly appreciated and benefit many indigenous people.
