The Choice is an immersive Virtual Reality documentary, exploring the various reasons why women* choose to have abortion with the goal of busting stigma surrounding this issue.

We interview people who made the decision of terminating their pregnancy and through the use of an intimate VR space, we let our audience to have a conversation with them.
We are now filming interviews in the US and need your support. We launched this GoFundMe campaign to help our team raise the required money for the hard costs of filming: traveling, places to stay, food, renting equipment and studio spaces.
So far our project has been supported by the gracious support of our crowdfunding backers, through material support of local organizations and the donation of our personal time and effort.

Why now? THE MOST IMPORTANT US ELECTION!
It's more than just defeating Donald Trump. His presidency is simply the carrier of a disease that has infected all facets of government. The same people who allowed him to come to power have worked day a night to install bigoted, fundamentalist Judges, allow fascist white supremacists to dictate horrific immigration policy and suppress and fight against women's rights both within the US borders and around the world.
It is critically important to share the stories of why women make the decision to exercise their own reproductive rights, and why this human right needs defending in this era of turmoil.
Why GoFundMe?
Raising funds for The Choice has been challenging. We often hear that people support us privately, yet they cannot do it officially “due to how controversial the subject is”. Or it is “too women-focused”. Or it should be “more objective” - meaning: we should be showing the “other side of the story”.
We don’t want to give up creative control, and we want to deliver what we have promised to everyone who shares their stories with and through us. Without adding a “commentary”, without adding “monetization”, without adding gimmicks to make it “more attractive”.
So yes, it’s been a challenge, yet we know that there is a community - community that supported us already (Kickstarter ), the community that believes that we need to act, and we need to act now.
And that’s why we ask you to help us.
