Help the Casey Family

Donation protected

It's with great sadness we inform you that we have recently made aware that James (Jimmy) Casey has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and will not be returning to work. Jimmy started his DOC career September 8, 1996 and was part of the graduating class 247. He has worked at Old Colony Correction Center for the duration of his career on 3-11 shift.  As he approaches his 20th year, his objective was to reach September to ensure his family his retirement. IT is our understanding that Jimmy's time is very limited and the reality is that he may not make it to his goal. As his Dept. of Correction work family, we are saddened and shocked by this news and are in a race to raise funds as quickly as we can in effort to help the Casey family. Collectively we need to let Jimmy know how much he means to so many of us! Staff members are covering his shifts ensuring every penny possible is given back to his family. No amount is too small and would be greatly appreciated.
