Hurricane Irma Relief

Donation protected
To all our guests,
Thank you to everyone who has been emailing and calling to check on the villa as well as the status of those who you have come close to during your stays.  We have had guests offer to fly down and help, ship clothing and goods and others who want to know how they can help with relief to all those who were effected.  We decided to start a GoFundMe Page to help those who work direcrtly with the villa.  These 10 recipients will be named below.  All monies raised will be evenly distributed among the recipients.  A facebook Live Broadcast will take place on Friday, October 20th at 4:00 pm as we hand deliver the monies to the recipients.

The island has regained some power in Charlotte Amalie (Where the Cruise Ships Dock) this morning, other parts of the island may be without power for a couple more weeks. In the pictures below you can see that The Beach House was minimually damaged and that our Hurricane Shutters, Solar Panels and landscaping took the brunt of the storm.  Our generator is up and running and we have turned into a relief spot for many of the individuals who work with the villa in addition to some of our neighbors.  They have been coming to take showers, charge their phones, do laundry, make meals, etc.  Some have also been staying at the villa as their homes were completely destroyed.  Duane & Lavona Schleicher (Owners of The Beach House 'my parents'), my husband Cole and my Brother-in-Law Jonathan  will be leaving for St. Thomas on Sunday to help get the villa back in pristine condition as well as help in relief efforts on the island.  Meals are being prepared and frozen, solar chargers for cell phones were purchased to distribute as well as some miscellaneous items for distribution. We want to Thank Everyone for their support and help during this time.  We will continue to post updates on FaceBook once we arrive on island and and are able to connect with all members of our extended Family...  Also, please keep St. Thomas as well as all of the other islands and mainlands in your prayers as they rebuild their lives and grieve those they lost during Hurricane Irma.
