The"BE KIND" for Bob's Son Campaign

Bob Kind, Bobby Kind's father, who was raising Bobby by himself, with the help of Bobby's grandmother, Gloria Warner, tragically died yesterday in the raging wash that Beaver Creek turned into over night. Bob couldn't see very well due to complications with diabetes, and was just determined to get home to his son, Bobby, because he promised he'd have the car back in time for school. Bob's lived here for the last 20 years and been caught in a wash before. He just couldn't see how bad it was and was washed down stream and the car full of water in no time. I was on the phone with him until I wasn't.......I am Aj Kind, Bob's ex-wife. He was so scared and there wasn't a damn thing I could do except assure him the rescue people were on their way.....and they couldn't get to him either. Bob was a great guy, and a great father. He was so proud of his son, but planning ahead was never his forte! But dying trying to cross a wash on an average day like every other was certainly not at the top of his "to do" list either! Bobby is 17 and almost in his senior year of highschool. He lived alone with Bob in an apartment in Cottonwood. The car they shared, a Ford Explorer, is ruined. Bob, even though he was a type 1 diabetic, had no life insurance, and really hadn't thought ahead for Bobby's college years, and certainly not his own funeral. Bob gave to everyone but himself. The family needs help with final expenses and Bobby doesn't have a car. The Kinds' are a proud self sufficient duo who would go without rather than ask for help, so I am asking for them. Again I am Aj Kind, Bob's ex-wife, but still best friend. Please help Bobby if you can. It will help Bob to know his son is taken care of. Life is so precious and can be taken away in the blink of an eye, as I witnessed yesterday. It still doesn't seem real. Catherine "Cat " Dragon Kind is Bobby's aunt and I have made her the beneficiary for the campaign as she and her husband Matt Kind, who is Bob's brother, live close to Bobby and will help guide him.
