We would like to start by saying we are trying to stay as modest as possible here. We see many campaigns for bands shoot for crazy numbers and we are trying to keep ours at a reasonable and acheivable number.
We are trying to raise some funds to put out our new EP entitled, "Underbelly" which is set to be released in August in time for our East Coast tour around the same time. *We need all the help we can get by Aug. 1st. Any help past that day is still a HUGE help!*
We've been doing this band and music thing for a long time now on an independent level and it's tough to keep it going year after year without any label/distribution support. The only support that is always there, is from you guys, the fans and friends of ours who buy merch and a cd and come check us out at a show. We are here to ask you for your support to help us be able to fund our recording and merch pressings. We tried to create some fun packages for those who have ever wanted to party with us and ask a bunch of questions to ultimate collector type packages filled with rare items documenting an era in our band's history.
We want to be transparent and modest so here is the breakdown of the goal so you can see where the money will go towards:
$800 - Studio and Engineer costs to record, mix, master the new EP entitled "Underbelly." (We cover any extra ourselves.)
$1100 - Pressing the EP to various media types.
$1100 - Pressing costs for 2 T-shirt designs.
*Any further costs with studio, merch pressing, tour expenses such as bus maintenance, hotels, tour we are covering ourselves. We just mainly need help in advance for the Studio, EP pressing and merch pressing expenses.
Being in bands has been our passion for 15+ years and that passion is only growing stronger. Believe us, we feel out of place asking for help. We've never done this before and we never thought we would have to do this but the time has come where we have to ask for some help to keep this machine moving along and meet deadlines. Even if you just look at this as a pre-order and purchase some things in advance, that will go a HUGE way in helping us out.
We are extremely thankful for any help we get and we will continue to do our best at creating quality music for as long as our bodies will allow it.
