Help Needed Renovating Cottage
Donation protected
The Adventure Project is a not for profit who run adventure therapy and activity programs for addiction services, youth services and young people in care.
We have been given a licence to use the old lock keepers cottage in North Strand. Our plan is to use it as a base to run all our adventure therapy and activity programs, to start up some new water based clubs and groups in the area, and to deliver a variety of training courses.
As you can see from the picture the cottage has fallen into some disrepair over the years and will need a lot of work.
As we are a not for profit and have very little money we asked for people to volunteer their time to help get the place useable again. We were overwhelmed with the offers from tradesmen, professionals and people grnerally offering to work with us for free to renovate the site.
However we also need building materials to complete the work. All donations are gratefully received and all money will be used to fund the renovation of this beautiful old cottage to become a lively, energetic mini adventure centre in the heart of Dublin City
