On weekday mornings, C-Span has a call in show called the Washington Journal. On Friday, September 18th Thea from South Carolina called in to share her heart wrenching story about how Covid has impacted her job. The next three minutes and 37 seconds, are truly heartbreaking.

"I feel like in the next couple of months, I will be living in my car," Thea said somewhere from South Carolina as the sun was rising.
The pain in her voice after losing her 30+ year career in healthcare, her insurance, and on the verge of losing her house is a painful reminder that Thea is one of millions in the same position.
"I just need somebody to hear me, to listen to me, because this is wrong. I'm a 57-years-old. How am I going to make it? I feel like I'm going to be homeless," Thea said choking back tears.
This is wrong! And even though Thea isn't asking for our help, it's our responsibility to help her.
