The O'Brien Wedding/Honeymoon Fund

Hi! This is Jessica Tseang here, a friend of Nichole Dyben and Trever O'Brien. If you're here, you know that they have a magical day of September 23, 2017  set aside where loved ones will be able to witness a start of an amazing marriage. 

I knew Nicki first, then I was fortunate enought to meet Trever. From the moment I met Trever, I felt (what I am sure many others have as well), an instant connection of someone I would soon call a wonderful  friend. Over time, many of us were able to witness how perfect Nicki and Trever are for each other. Their love for one another grew beyond just the two of them, and their children came together in perfect unison, as their relationship grew into a lifelong family. 

Nicki is one of the most loving, kind, generous, people that I know. She is quick to forgive, empathetic, understanding, and easy to talk to, which makes her one of the sweetest people alive. She and Trever work hard to provide for their family, while giving us the opportunity to join them on their wedding day. 

Due to both of their demanding  work schedules, busy family life, and the cost of weddings in general, Nicki and Trever deserve the support from us to help them experience a once in a lifetime honeymoon, and a safe home life for their four children while they are away. 

The couple, for as long as I have known them, have never asked for much (they are givers!), and they have never taken a vacation.  Everyone who knows them, know how deserving they are of this. 

For their honeymoon, they will be leaving immediately the day after the wedding, and be will going to Bali for 10 days. 

The expenses for their 10 days include: 

$3500 for time off of work: 2 weeks. Both Trever and Nicki are independent contractors, meaning, they do not get paid for vacation, they have no sick paid leave, and no benefits. They live from paycheck to paycheck. This amount will go towards household bills, electic, insurance, rent, gas, AND paying for the rest of the wedding (workers, food, venue rental, etc). 

$1500 for child care, house sitting, and food for two teenage boys (we all know how they can eat us out of house and home), food for the two little ones, food for their pets, after-school programs, house cleaning, and drivers to pick up the children and drop them off.  This would be full time care of the children for 24 hours for 14 days. 

$2500 for Bali and extra emergency funds: This includes dinners, recreation, car rental, tour, renting scuba equipment, and small souveniers. 

I can't think of any couple more perfect for each other than Nicki and Trever, they deserve all of our love and support. They are not materialistic people, instead, they cherish memories and their loved ones. This would be the most amazing wedding gift we could gift them. Nicki and Trever would be eternally grateful.
