Let's Build The Cannabis Generation
We have partnered with the Pennywise Foundation to establish The Cannabis Generation Equity Fund with a mission to empower a new generation of cannabis entrepreneurs led by the communities most harmed by the war on drugs.
This fundraiser is to launch a job training and internship program. We will recruit participants within the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) community and those who have been adversely impacted by the War on Drugs and help them to get good jobs and pursue their goals of career advancement, entrepreneurship and more! We believe that Vermont can create a model for sustainability and equity that can be an example for the rest of the country!
Your support will help us launch a job training program where groups of 5-6 people will be competitively selected for fully paid 6-week internships that include professional development retreats and completion of a college-level certificate program. We plan to host 4-5 intern cohorts per year and support participants to gain long-term careers in this budding new industry throughout Vermont.
Our volunteer steering committee is composed of entrepreneurs, educators and activists in Vermont who care deeply about social equity in the cannabis industry:
Marlena Tucker-Fishman, Zenbarn Farms
Tiffany Johnson, Euphoria Cannabis
Zach Tyson, Mr. Z Craft Cannabis
Shirelle Grant, Royal Highness Consulting
Ana MacDuff, Mountain Girl Cannabis
Andrew Subin, Vermont Cannabis Solutions
Jen Daniels, Meristem Farms
Phillip Lamy, Castleton State College
Thank you for helping us build The Cannabis Generation!
