The Zander Linka Fund

Zander was admitted to RUH Dec 5 after a minor emergency doctor found a “shadow” on his heart in an X-ray.  A team of doctors at RUH discovered a mass (tumor) on his heart, fluid in his chest cavity and a swollen lymph gland. He had surgery on Dec 8 th. The lymph node was removed, a liter of fluid was drained from his chest, bone marrow test and a spinal tap.
He has Lymphoma. Stage 4. There will be a month of intense treatment followed by 5 more months of concentrated treatment. If that works well there will be a year and a half of further treatment.

Crystal is a single mom with 3 children. Zander is her middle child. Money is tight and she is stressed over Christmas, parking, groceries, babysitters and the need to be with all her children. She feels helpless and yet totally determined to provide all she can for her kids.
Loving Support has been constant from family and friends and she is overwhelmed by everyone’s desire to help. 

So in the true fashion of trying to help those in need Ray Kneeland came to me a few days ago and asked if we could set up a Go Fund Me page for Zander and his family and I thought what a terrific idea!
