KMC Youth - Access to Team Football Jerseys

Dear Reader, on behalf of the Youth of the Kanifing Municipal Council we kindly appeal to you for support by way of a financial donation to assist us in the purchasing of football jerseys and equipment to enable the youth to participate in the upcoming “Nawetan” football season.

The Nawetan football season is a local league created to help foster youth empowerment in The Gambia by providing young people under the age of 21 with a fun yet challenging extracurricular activity that they can look forward to every year. All of the games are sponsored and the local teams, coaches and officials rely solely on the goodwill of benefactors to get each football season off the ground.

The Kanifing Municipal Council under the Mayor Talib Bensouda is also aiming to continue to keep the youths of KMC fully engaged as active participants and hereby call upon any potential sponsors to kindly contribute what they can.

Any donation amount would be truly appreciated by the KMC youth.

For the sake of transparency, the donations will go towards the following:

Jerseys for the football players as well as nonparticipating KMC youths
Equipment such as football boots, balls, nets etc
The cost of maintaining a number of football fields in the KMC region such that they are in good enough condition for the local youth to benefit from their usage

**Please note that this campaign has been setup by Yusufa Sey upon the request of Mayor Talib Bensouda and as Yusufa is a resident of Denmark, it has not been possible to setup the campaign currency in a currency other than the Danish Kroner (DKK). As of the 31st of August 2022, 90,000 DKK is roughly equivalent to 12,000 USD which is the campaign target.
