The Young’s IVF fund

Since my post yesterday, many family members and friends have reached out asking how they can help.

A little more background - My husband Chris & I were diagnosed with infertility shortly after we got married. We have been on treatment plans for the past 5 1/2 years. We suffered our first miscarriage in March of 2019 and from there we decided to move onto IVF. We refinanced our home and spent a combined $60,000 on surgeries, procedures, medications, transfers, etc. From that IVF round, we achieved 4 highly graded embryos. We transferred our son in Dec of 2020, but lost him when I was 12 weeks pregnant. From that, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos based off of testing.

We came up with our game plan and transferred 2 embryos in July of 2021. Sadly those too have ended in a an early miscarriage. That left us with our 1 remaining embryo , before leaving us to have to start completely over with IVF.

Our very last transfer completely failed. So we went back to the drawing board. We saved & maxed out credit cards to pay for IVF #2 and completed that Dec. 2021. We achieved 6 day 3 embryos. We will be back in Albany shortly to transfer 2 of the 6 embabies on ice.

We are running into corners financially and are struggling to find a way to make it happen financially. I am a local school teacher at Liberty Magnet & my husband works work Piper. Between all of my medical bills from the miscarriages, IVF, transfers, travel, etc my husbands overtime only goes so far.

We are both emotionally, physically and mentally drained. Going back and forth to NY from FL while working full time and working all the timing out is nearly impossible. BUT We truly believe we will get there, we just have to keep going.

So please share our story. We can use all the help, even spiritually that we can get.
