<div><strong>WE HAVE 500 PEOPLE SIGNED UP TO MAKE HISTORY IN THE ICY WATER!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi there
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Mark and I'm the founder of <a href="https://www.onelifeliveit.com.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">One Life Live It</a>, a company focused on helping people break out of negative mindsets and limiting behaviours, often associated with anxiety and depression and ultimately preventing us from living a life by 'design' rather than by 'accident'.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While we offer coaching and 'Mindset Bootcamps', we use cold water exposure and breathing amongst other modalities to shift states and reap the mental and physical benefits.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><iframe media_type="0" media_id="pawdbEZXGr0" class="youtube-replace" title="YouTube video player" style="margin-bottom:20px;width:560px;height:315px;" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/pawdbEZXGr0/?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Specifically, cold-water immersion provides many significant and powerful physiological and mental health benefits.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So, to further raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health, in particular anxiety and depression and to raise money for <a href="https://www.beyondblue.org.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Beyond Blue</a>*, we are staging a <strong>GUINNESS WORLD RECORD </strong>attempt for the <strong>WORLD'S FIRST EVER, BIGGEST, GROUP ICE BATH!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The attempt is on Saturday 20th January 2024, at Leighton Beach in Perth, Western Australia.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong><em>We need to get 250 people, simultaneously into the water/ice (we will be using 41 inflatable pools set up on the beach), which will be around 6oC, submerged up to their necks, for 3 minutes for the record.</em></strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We are super excited as we now have 500 people signed up and ready to take the plunge </strong>and with registrations now closed, we are keen to maximise the funds we can raise.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/73083027_1684906817498541_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The event is not-for-profit.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Sponsors &amp; Donations</strong>
</div>
<div>While we are seeking sponsors interested in being part of the event, we are hoping to raise more money for the charity through Go Fund Me - <strong>EVEN A $10 DONATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you're interested, or know anyone who might be interested in <strong>sponsoring a pool ($650) or the main stage</strong>, please <a href="https://www.onelifeliveit.com.au/contact/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">contact us</a> for more details.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/73083027_1685078094184065_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Carbon Footprint</strong>
</div>
<div>We understand that ice and the packaging produce a carbon footprint, and while we understand raising awareness of the benefits of cold water immersion is paramount, we also want to consider the environment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The event will have its carbon footprint calculated and we will be donating to <a href="https://www.greenfleet.com.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GreenFleet</a> to plant trees, which when mature will offset our carbon use for the event.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>For more information please check out the One Life Live It </strong><a href="https://www.onelifeliveit.com.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>website</strong></a><strong> and go to the Events page, or feel free to contact Mark directly on 0408 302 187.</strong>
