The White Memorial Theatre

St. Mary's Choral Society, Clonmel is a non profit organisation that fosters talent and creativity amongst the youth of the town and surrounding areas. Its residence is that of the White Memorial Theatre, Wolfe Tone Street, Clonmel. This building was constructed in the 1800s and initially served as a Wesleyan Methodist Chapel. Today, however, it acts as our towns only theatre. For those of you that have attended an event at the White Memorial Theatre, you will be aware that renovations are needed in order to keep this beautiful theatre alive.

As a result, we have decided to reach out to you, the public, to raise much needed funds for a theatre that is dear, not only to us, but to the many people and organisations within Clonmel. 

We have currently started renovations to install a wheelchair accessible ramp for our patrons and the many visitors that we have throughout the year. We hope to raise enough money so that further improvements can be made to a theatre with so much history and personality.
