The Wedding of Cam and Shay (Noah’s Bankruptcy)

As you have all heard Noah’s Event Venue has closed abruptly as of today. That was shocking news to everyone but extremely devastating to Shalimar and I, considering we were to be married there in just 90 days. We booked the venue for both our ceremony and reception. Noah’s gave no indication that they would be closing and even processed our bar payment just two days ago. After processing the payment we were sent a congratulatory text message from the venue. They haven’t communicated with us at all since then and from the looks of it we will not be getting back the thousands of dollars we gave them for our big day. Shalimar and I paid for our wedding on our own over the past year while raising and fully supporting her five year old sister. We would have never thought that something like this could have happened. We are both two very hard working individuals who went through this entire process not asking anybody for any type of help. We wanted it to be a stress free day for our friends and family who we love so much. This now puts us in a situation that we are not familiar with nor are we comfortable in, but we still want to celebrate and enjoy our big day by any means possible. That’s why we are asking for help from anyone that can find it in their hearts to assist. We would really appreciate it.
