In the past year Delaware native, Jenna Warrington, has accomplished things that most people experience in their twenties. She has gotten married, bought a new home, adopted an adorable dog, and has made great strides in her career. What she never expected was the “C” word.
On June 20, 2019, 27 year old stylist, Jenna Warrington discovered a small lump on her left breast. Thankfully, she took immediate action scheduling multiple tests and doctor visits. On July 17th Jenna’s biggest fear was confirmed, that lump was indeed Cancer. She took the news in stride and in “true Jenna fashion” she sprang into action planning and researching her next move!
Over the next several weeks and many doctors’ visits later, Jenna has been formally diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She has met with her Team of Doctors and has set a treatment plan into place. Jenna is to begin her fight with her 1st round of Chemotherapy on Monday August 12, 2019. She will be out of work for undetermined amount of time as her fight continues. With medical costs soaring and being out of work during her treatments, we wanted to help ease the stress of financial burdens so she can devote her time and energy on her recovery. Will you join us in donating to help Jenna?
Jenna is grateful for the overwhelming support from her husband, Beau, family, and friends. She appreciates the continued prayers and the outpouring of love she has received. Jenna’s strong will and positive outlook fuel her fight! She plans to use her diagnosis as a platform to inform women that you are never “too Young!” Breast Cancer is becoming more and more common in younger women! She wants to urge everyone to pay attention to their bodies. Regular self-breast examinations are the key to early detection! Stay tuned for updates on Jenna’s journey.
