We are a small housing contact centre team who have experienced our fair share of grief and trauma in recent years.
Our colleague & friend Jayne has always led the way in helping and supporting the team through difficult times whilst continuing to provide a service to our customers.
We want to show support to Jayne as she now faces a difficult time in her life. Last year her husband Craig was been diagnosed with progressive Parkinson’s and as such his health has deteriorated rapidly. Despite becoming a full time carer for her husband; Jayne continues to work, providing advice & assistance to others who need her help.
Jayne has limited support around her and has struggled to access the support she needs from other agencies - as this is one area of her life she does not have the answer to.
We are pleased that Craig is now waiting to secure a place for respite care from Marie Curie or Parkinson’s PSP.
We want to raise funds for Jayne and her husband to relieve some of the financial pressure and maybe allow them to take a well deserved holiday – which in itself would be an up hill struggle given that Craig’s mobility is now very restricted. Jayne has expressed a wish for some of the funds raised to be donated to one of the charities mentioned above.
We welcome sponsors to support us to climb/walk Mount Snowdon in Wales – as we know Jayne continues to have a mountain to climb and we want to show her that we will support her every step of the way.
20 members of our Contact Centre Team and some of their family will be completing the walk on Saturday 15 June 19. We ask that you support us by donating any amount you can in support of Jayne & her husband at this difficult time.
