<div>Im a philanthropist at heart,but never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be doing this for my own family. Please friends, colleagues and friends of friends take the time to read my story, please share. I am so grateful for all the support for the many people out there who believe in justice.

</div>
<div>On 12 February 2026, my 41-year-old brother, Marc Isaacson, was found dead in Johannesburg under circumstances that have left our family with many unanswered questions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I live in the United Kingdom, and as soon as I received the devastating news, I flew to South Africa. When I arrived, I discovered that the funeral had already been arranged for the following day, despite what appeared to be significant irregularities surrounding Marc's death. We have struggled to understand why no autopsy, toxicology testing, or forensic investigation was carried out before his burial. The attending doctor reportedly declined to certify the death as natural after it was established that Marc had been deceased for several hours.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Adding to our distress, Marc's personal belongings—including his phone, laptop, and security cameras—were not immediately returned to our devastated mother. We have also since learned information that has raised further concerns and prompted us to seek independent legal and investigative advice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Marc was an exceptionally intelligent and entrepreneurial man. At just 23 years old, he helped establish Nigeria's first licensed sports betting operation and the National Lottery. Tragically, his own struggles with gambling later had a devastating impact on his life and finances. He also carried enormous responsibility from a young age after our father passed away when Marc was only 21. Alongside this, he battled mental illness, which made him particularly vulnerable to exploitation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In the period leading up to his death, Marc had expressed concerns to family members and others that he no longer trusted someone. He had installed AI-enabled security cameras in his room that recorded to the cloud because he felt uneasy. We have been given explanations as to why no footage is available, but these explanations have only added to our concerns. We also understand that Marc had recently had a serious disagreement involving allegations of theft. At this stage, because legal proceedings may follow, I cannot disclose everything that has come to light.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a grieving family, we are not asking anyone to presume guilt. We are simply asking for the opportunity to establish the truth through a proper investigation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you, truly, to everyone who has donated, shared and written to us since we asked for help in July. We wanted to tell you where things stand and how your support is being used. He was buried the next day without a post-mortem, The paperwork we have since obtained records that he was electrocuted earlier that day and that his death was recorded as "natural" by a police officer, not by a doctor. Under South African law, a sudden and unexplained death of that kind should have been referred to the state forensic pathologist before burial. It was not. That is the core of what we are asking to be put right.
</div>
<div>We have instructed Witz Inc. to act for the family, and on their advice the investigation is proceeding in stages:
</div>
<div>Executor letters for Marc's estate, so that his belongings, records and accounts can lawfully be recovered and examined.
</div>
<div>Laying a formal complaint with the South African Police Service regarding the handling of Marc's property and the use of his accounts after his death, so that the matter has an official investigation and case number.
</div>
<div>Securing records, from banks, lenders, his mobile network and email provider, before they are lost..
</div>
<div>Ask the authorities for a formal inquest.
</div>
<div>We want to be clear about something. We are not accusing anyone of anything. We are asking for the process the law already provides to be followed, and we are asking the questions any family would ask. Because this may become the subject of court proceedings, we will not be commenting on individuals, on what may have happened, or on the evidence, and we ask our friends and supporters not to speculate about anyone on our behalf. Please do not name anyone in the comments.
</div>
<div>About the money. Donations are held in the trust and no member of our family will receive any of it. If, on expert's advice, an exhumation is not warranted, or if the target is not reached, the unused balance will be refunded to donors in accordance with the written terms held by go fund me. Donors who gave anonymously and would like a refund can ask go fund me and they will refund.
</div>
<div>We will post an update at each stage. We cannot say how long this will take, some of these steps depend on the Master's office, the police and the courts, but we will be honest with you about progress and about what we find, whatever it turns out to be.
</div>
<div>Marc leaves a daughter, a mother, a sister and two brothers. We simply want to know what happened to him.
</div>
<div>With gratitude, Justine Isaacson-Connelly, on behalf of the Isaacson family"
</div>
<div>Every donation in Witz trust will be held securely in the trust account of criminal advocate Daniel Witz.
</div>
<div>This appeal is not only about my brother. If our concerns are well-founded, establishing the facts could help protect others in the future. Right now, however, our focus is simple: finding out what really happened to Marc.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Marc leaves behind a daughter who deserves answers. Our family deserves answers. Most importantly, Marc deserves dignity, truth, and justice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have chosen to make this public because, despite being a very private person, I can no longer stay silent. My family has endured unimaginable hardship over the past two decades, and asking for help from the public is one of the hardest things I have ever done. But we believe we owe it to Marc to pursue every possible avenue while there is still time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have assembled a highly respected legal team and experienced investigators who believe there are sufficient concerns to warrant further investigation. They would not encourage us to take this difficult and very public step if they did not believe there was a legitimate basis to seek the truth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you know me, know my family, or simply believe that every person deserves a proper investigation into unexplained circumstances surrounding their death, I ask you to help in whatever way you can. Whether you are able to donate, share this appeal, or simply keep us in your thoughts, your support means more than words can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Marc was a generous, kind, and loving man. Whenever he had something to give, he gave freely to others. He did not deserve to die with so many unanswered questions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for standing with us in our search for the truth. Together, we hope to give Marc the justice he deserves and, if necessary, help prevent another family from suffering the same unimaginable loss.
