I am a 24 year old man with Tourette Syndrome + Autistic Trait. More importantly, i’m a medic. I work on Emergency Ambulances.
Through school, many people said I wouldn’t achieve much, they said I wouldn’t go very far. I am aiming to become a Paramedic but in the U.K. the way you become a Paramedic will be changing. These changes will ultimately, because of my conditions make it much harder for me to achieve this goal.
The way around this is to qualify sooner. This means that I need to quickly raise this money to fund a course. Once I have done this course I will be able to progress onto my Pranedoc course much sooner,
I want to achieve this goal as I love my job. I love being able to help people and I want to inspire other people like me to pursue these careers and to believe that they can also achieve.
