Hello Everyone ..... Matthew Shaw, 27, a resident of Enfield, CT. was recently involved in a serious accident leaving him with 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 30% of his body. Matt is the son of retired SGT Harry Shaw of the Connecticut State Police. Following in his fathers footsteps to help serve his community, Matt recently became a Public Safety Dispatcher for the Connecticut State Police at Bradley International Airport, which happens to be the same Troop his father retired from.
Matt has an outgoing personality and is always smiling, no matter what the situation. Matt loves fishing and the outdoors, and it will be a while before he can enjoy these things.
Matt is unable to work, and since he is new to the CSP, he has no accrued sick or vacation time to utilize.
This campagain will help alleviate some of the unexpected financial burdens that have been placed upon Matt and his family. Any assistance or support you can over will be greatly appreciated by Matt, his family and his colleagues.
