Hello from TAP Creative!
The story so far:
We are building a music studio in the basement of Loudwater House which will be equipped to host music instrument and recording tuition as well as careers, promotion and management advice FOR FREE for young people in Bucks. We have an ambitious goal of enrolling 100 disadvantaged young people in the Masterclass Programme in our first year, starting this summer. Here they would receive a 1 hour workshop to assess their ability, aims and wellbeing - then they would receive 10 sessions of tuition/recording tailored to those needs. We have several partners in this effort, including Aspire AP, the YMCA and The Clare Foundation.
We are underway with some structural works that needed to be carried out before the studio build can begin (these works are being paid for graciously by the property owner not our charity). Once, these are imminently completed, we will begin the work on the conversion to the studio space you see below.
Where you come in:
Every story needs a hero. We're looking to local people and businesses to rise to the occasion, helping to fund us to provide a creative hub for Bucks and a golden opportunity for disadvantaged young people, who have been so unfairly affected by Covid-19, to have something positive to look forward to and benefit from.
We can also offer packages to suit any type of business including brand name recognition on our website and social media presence, sponsorship of studio equipment or rooms or sponsorship of young people in the programme. Donations can be fully auditable to ensure transparency throughout the process.
