The Szarzynski Family

We are incredibly saddened by the sudden and tragic passing of our dear friend and Coach Brent Szarzynski. Brent made his mark in ways far beyond being an outstanding football coach for our 9U Minors Team. Not only did he do a great job of coaching our football players, he also served as a mentor and father figure to the boys on his team. Brent didn’t just motivate and encourage on the field, but truly inspired his players off the field as well. He was very passionate about football and was always ready with a kind, encouraging and motivating word. His fellow coaches could always depend on him for anything and everything.

We have many memories and many reasons to be thankful that Brent was our coach, our friend, our mentor. He helped us to achieve success in our very first year of tackle football by making it to the playoffs. He was so proud of his team. He showed all of us by example how to live life as a productive, responsible and caring citizen. We had so much admiration and respect for him.

OHAA and the world have lost a beautiful person. Heaven is a bit brighter now with his arrival.

Thank you, Emily and the boys, for sharing your husband and father with so many of us at OHAA. We are forever grateful and will miss him dearly.

We know the OHAA Hawk Family will come together to wrap up the entire Szarzynski family with love, and we want to make sure our efforts go where they are most needed.
