As a small group of students from Oakland County, Michigan, we developed 5 Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math coloring books. These books don't have any words or numbers to increase STEAM accessibility and skills. Each book is 20 pages long and is intended for kids in grades K-2. We worked with Junior FIRST LEGO League robotics teams and Kindergarten teachers to make this possible. We send these books to robotics teams, schools, and nonprofit organizations for free or a low price (depending on donations).
We also developed a 3D printed robot that costs $18.95 to increase robotics accessibility and knowledge. Its name is Every Kid Gets a Robot. Despite its affordable price, when given away to students the cost adds up. Help us get Every Kid Gets a Robot into the 2019 Goonettes Invitational (an assembly demonstration, later to be donated to FRC Team Goon Squad), The STEAM Sisters (free classes for Oakland County students), to the 2019 American Indian Science and Engineering Society National Conference (at the Boeing STEM Day), and more.
We want to make STEAM learning as accessible as possible, and this will be a step towards making that happen.
If you donate, there will be an option to be featured on our website for your contribution!
