The Soudavanh family (on the death of Sofia)

Sofia Soudavanh died Sunday, 8/30/2020.  She was one of the best people I have ever known, and there is no hyperbole in that superlative.  Sofia was an extremely intelligent, intuitive natural care-taker who always worked to make any situation better & was extremely effective at doing so.  She paid attention and always found a way to defuse, to de-escalate, to solve, to support.  She worked hard and never complained.  Sofia has dealt with too much tragedy in her life and now has passed on far too young.   I am setting up this GoFundMe as a gift to her family:  her father and two siblings (Manola and Raymond).  I would like to close this Memorial fundraiser by Sunday, 9/6.  I will be the one in charge of final expenses (Jackie Stewart, her former chemistry teacher and Scholastic Bowl coach).
