On Monday, November 10 2020, Nancy Clayburg, daughter, sister and mother, passed away at age 45.

Nancy  was born on December 15, 1974 to Tom and Genevieve Clayburg becoming a 4th generation Paso Roblan.  She completed Atascadero high school early and graduated the Cuesta College nursing program with highest honors when she was only 19 years old.  During her 14 year nursing career she focused on intensive care leading advanced specialized care procedures in the unit.  Few, if any could thread an IV through a vein all the way to the heart,  but Nancy could.

She gave birth to her daughter Madison when she was 22.  Her daughter graduated from Occidental with highest honors and is now pursuing a masters degree in Psychology.

Nancy had a passion for quilting, stitching together beautiful and incredibly complex patterns from the time she was a teen.

She was also a talented family historian,  creating beautiful archives and photo books for her family and their tradition of a military service heritage that dates back continuously to the American Revolution.
Her intelligence, attention to detail and commitment to excellence in each of her hobbies enabled her to create extraordinary art.

She is survived by her daughter Madison Neumann, parents, Tom and Genevieve and her 4 sisters.

In lieu of Flowers donations to her daughter’s college education can be made here.
