The Scarborough Sharks

The Scarborough Sharks U13AA is an all-female hockey team working hard to be seen! The team has secured the last spot available for a premier event in Detroit from February 3-5, 2023 - Motor City Girls Fest. This is a Tier 1 event that will bring the best and most talented female players together from all over the US and Canada for a three-day hockey extravaganza.

Finding sponsorship money for this team has been critical - Scarborough is an economically diverse community. The cost of going to Detroit is pushing the budgets for so many working families on the team. This opportunity to play in Detroit could be pivotal for players to be seen. As a premier showcase event in the US, it will be their first and possibly only opportunity to be in front of NCAA and Prep School Scouts.

We are trying to raise $2000 to help us to reduce hotel and meal expenses for some of the families that are striving to give their kids this opportunity.
