La Lumière des Chevaux est une association reconnue d'intérêt général qui aide les animaux en détresse: destinés à l'abattoir, maltraités, négligés, abandonnés, dont les propriétaires sont en difficultés.... Ils sont sauvés, soignés, reprennent confiance, et sont placés en famille d'accueil ou au sein du refuge où ils vivent une belle vie libre de toute forme d'exploitation.
Le refuge prend soin actuellement d'environ 80 animaux dont plus de 50 équidés (chevaux, ânes, mule, bardots...) et bovins; ainsi que des chèvres, brebis, chiens, chats, poissons, un cochon...
En 10 ans nous avons pu sauver près de 800 animaux dont 600 chevaux.
Pour ces sauvetages ainsi que les soins et l'entretien des animaux sauvés, l'association besoin de trouver près de 3000€ par mois!
Cette somme correspond aux frais suivants:
- alimentation (foin, croquettes, grains...)
- sauvetages
- frais vétérinaires et d'identification des animaux
- pensions, location de terrains
- matériel (clôtures, outils...)
- carburant et entretien des véhicules
- assurance, frais de gestion...
L'association est financée principalement par des dons, qui sont déductibles des impôts à 66%.
C'est pour ça que nous avons besoin de votre soutien pour pouvoir continuer à sauver des animaux et prendre soin d'eux!

La Lumière des Chevaux (The Light of the Horses) is a non-profit organization whose aim is to rescue animals from the slaughter, or mistreatment, neglect, abandonment, or when their owners are in difficulties. They are rescued, cared for, they take back confidence; then they are brought to foster families or they stay at the sanctuary where they can live a beautiful life free from any kind of exploitation.
In 10 years we have been able to rescue nearly 800 animals including 600 horses.
The sanctuary is currently hosting and taking care of about 80 animals including more than 50 equines and cows, but also goats, sheeps, cats, dogs, fishes, a pig...
Rescuing animals and taking care of them requires an average of 3000€ month.
This sum is needed for:
- the food for the animals
- vet fees, identification and papers of the animals
- animals rescue costs
- land rental
- material, tools, fence equipment
- fuel, vehicles maintenance
- insurance, management costs
- ...
The funding of the orgnization is donation-based.
That's why we need your support in order to keep rescuing and taking care of the animals!
