Hello Everyone,
I am trying to raise money for the patients who are currently effected by the COVID-19 outbreak. There are still many patients at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital unable to see their loved ones due to restrictions on visitors to any patient within the hospital. Due to this unique situation, many patients are unable to get things most of us would want whilst in hospital! Daily newspaper, a treat from the snack trolley, grapes for your side table, the list goes on.
We are appealing for funds to help improve the experience of these patients, as its become apparent how sad and lonely they feel whilst in hospital.
Sometimes all it takes is something small to make their day a bit brighter and a little less scary - they don't even get to see another smile with all the protective gear!
With your help, we will be able to continually provide our patients with something nice for their stay until hopefully this is over! This will range from essentials like toiletries to a few treats/ newspapers/ etc.
Although this is a very sad and lonely time for most, we want to make the best out of rubbish situation!
No donation would be too small and even a pound would help!
