The road to restore full strength

My husband was diagnosed with a herniated lumbar L4/L5 in 2012. He had tried to avoid back surgery at such a young age then, but now that might possibly be what helps. Ten minutes of any thing that requires heavy lifting or bending throws him into exceutiating pain and his quality of life has to say the least been interrupted. Physical therapy did not help at all and visits to the chiropractor did some what provide relief specifically from spinal decompression but was not woth the cost. However, we are interested in exploring other options before that decision of surgery is gone through with
He is at the point where he is unable to work a physical job, was denied TennCare as well as Disability, and can not afford health insurance any more.
He has had temporary relief through one spinal epidural injection years ago as well as use of an inversion table
When he was diagnosed, he had a little bit of money to live on through his father's inheritance but that has since run out over the years
I work myself but only make $11.00 an hour which barely covers the roof over our head, food, car insurance, and taking care of my son
We are reaching out and asking for help so that my husband will be able to afford a few things such as a a new inversion table, acupuncture treatments, possibly enough money to cover health insurance for a whole year, another spinal epidural injection, past bills from emergency room visits, and if we have to, a discectomy operation from Dr. Edward Mackey at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville
Any thing would be appreciated even if all you are able to contribute is ONE DOLLAR. My family and even his do all they can but affordability for these things is just not realistic. My husband dreams to one day be able to get back to the activists and work that he has a gift for
Other than physical pain, constant numbness and tingling radiates all the way down his right leg. Please at least share this page if you are not in a position to spare any thing
We thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts
