We've reached the finish line and need some help getting back to Oxford for my final PhD defense. This is the last "viva," or oral examination, before earning my doctorate. We just received word that it's scheduled for July 24, 2018. I realize that this isn't much time to raise support and book flights back to the UK at a reasonable price. So we're hoping to make this happen sooner rather than later with your help. I've had Joy by my side from the beginning and wanted to have her there at the end as well. It's been a long road, and Joy and I have appreciated all of your thoughts and prayers over the years. Any contribution at all will benefit us and help to bring this part of our journey to a close.
