The Rio Staff Support Fund

Rio Family,

Through all of the uncertainty around COVID-19, we are working hard to stay strong and stay positive as we navigate this new normal.

We have been blown away by the outpouring of love and support from all of you at a time when we need it most—proving what we already knew to be true, when you come to the Rio you become a part of our family.

At the heart of the Rio family is our dedicated employees and we are doing everything in our power to support them through these trying times. It is with this in mind that we ask that you join us in supporting our staff by contributing to the Rio Support Fund. Every dollar raised will be distributed to employees at each of our five locations - Fort Collins, Boulder, Denver, Greeley, and Park Meadows. We hope that you will rally with us to help provide resources to those within our Rio family who need it most.

Some have asked how we’ll use this fund to help our employees. A protected trust has been established by our dear friend, John Fay. He will personally withdraw the funds and give them to Rio World Headquarters for distribution. Our GM’s and HR staff worked hard to identify everyone in the company and evaluated who is most desperate. Every dollar from this fund, plus the tips received from takeout service, will be donated to these individuals. We have already made one payment and another one is planned in the next couple of weeks. We are so very thankful and proud of the support we’ve received.
