The Refuge Missionary House Build

I am now in my third year of service to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Peru, and it is apparent that the small house I rent here on the Refugio campus is unfortunately in a sad state of disrepair. After paying for numerous repairs and realizing that the termites, ants, and wood rot are winning, I have consulted a trusted carpenter and other advisors about the wisdom of continuing repairs. The consensus is that erecting a new concrete-and-block structure would be the best course of action to pursue.
Preliminary plans have been created, and quotes have been requested. To create a missionary residence on the campus large enough to house me and occasional ministry visitors will cost approximately $37,000 USD. The house will belong to Refugio, being on their property, but it will be designated as the "Missionary House." I will have the right to live in it for the duration of my years at Refugio, and it will be available for visitors or missionaries that come in the future.

Please consider joining us in raising funds for this much-needed improvement. We need prayer partners who will regularly and consistently petition the Lord to meet this need, and we also need the generosity of financial partners. We would like to have all funds raised by the end of 2018 so we can begin construction in early 2019!
