The Raul Ramirez Family Support

On the afternoon of Wednesday, September 12, 2018, the Ramirez family was suddenly and unexpectedly faced with near tragedy.  As Jessica drove on the freeway with Stella and baby Scarlett, a vehicle in the fast lane blew a tire, lost control and struck them from the left, sending their vehicle careening off the freeway and tumbling down a 50-foot embankment.  It was a horrific accident, the details of which no one wants to relive. 

By the grace of God all will be ok.  Miraculously baby Scarlett was unharmed in the event, but both Jessica and Stella were badly injured.  Leila was in school at the time.  Both Jessica and Stella will thankfully make full recoveries, but are at present recovering from their injuries at home with the help of Raul.

As many of you probably know, Raul and Jessica recently made the proud purchase of a beautiful new home to raise their girls in, and this event surely presents many unexpected challenges to them at such a pivotal time in their lives.  Everyone's well wishes and shows of support are much appreciated, and while they have not asked for this effort, we recognize that this may also become a stressful time financially as Raul has taken unplanned time away from work and they will need to purchase an appropriate replacement family vehicle.

If you are so compelled, a monetary gift may help ease at least the financial burden this unfortunate and unexpected event presents as the Ramirez family tries to heal and move past this chapter in their lives.  We hope to be able to raise $10,000 to help supplant lost earnings and to apply toward the purchase of a new family vehicle.  Any amount helps and no gift is too small.  If you are unable to contribute, know that your friendship, love, and other means of support are just as appreciated.
