Queer Art Collective

At The Queer Art Collective we put queer artists at the forefront and refuse to have their true stories silenced. Covid-19 has impacted how artists make a living and we want to help breach the gap between their work and potential buyers. Currently we do this online only.

This fundraiser is to help us set up a physical gallery location in Providence, Rhode Island in 2021 (given that it is safe to do so) and promote queer/LGBT+ art even more. The funds you so generously donate will primarily go towards renting the gallery space long term.  Other upfront costs like the website, flyers, advertising, equipment, and what's needed to set up the space are mostly already paid for out of our own pockets.

Taylor, the founder of this organization, has a wild passion for art and has dreamt of starting a gallery for years. The concept for this project is rooted in her desire to provide a safe space for an open and honest representation of queerness.
