The Primary Movement Fundraiser

Hello Everyone!

My name is Diamond Bradley, I am the founder of The Primary Movement.

The Primary Movement is a non profit organization that create opportunities for Blk creatives to connect, promote and showcase there god given talents. As a creative myself, I struggled throughout college to find safe space to share my artistic talents. So like the saying going goes I became the change I wanted to see. I started The Primary Movement on Feburary 24, 2018 and ever since then The Primary has curated multiple art shows like The Divine Feminine, The Melanin Pop Up Show and more.  Workshops  for creatives to build networking skills and collaborated with  organizations like Georgia State University, Atlanta Indie Market, Friends and Neighbors Atl, NC Mag, and more. Our events have been featured in Voyage Atl, Rolling Out, and Her Campus GSU.

We have gained so much support and love from the Atlanta arts community and around the U.S. From North Carolina, Texas, Seattle, California, and even London!

The Primary Movement goal is 
- have physical space for blk creatives in Atlanta to connect with one another, promote there work, and showcase new emerging talent in the city of Atlanta  
- create valuable and intentional opportunities  brands, companies, and space for creatives build sustainable creatives 
- have a residency program creatives to have dedicated space and opportunity to showcase there work in the heart Atlanta 
- gain connections with art and creative professional in there field with our events 

 
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to 
- purchase our space in the city of Atlanta 
- create programming for creative for materials and for creatives to be paid for their work
- marketing materials to increase awareness about The Primary opportunities


We currently have events for the full month of August. All events are donation based and will go toward our goal for raising $10,000 by Oct. 1st, 2020!
