Do you want to join us in making a difference for your child's school?
We are raising money in aid of OAKHURST PTFA who are supporting Oakhurst Community First & Nursey School in getting a new state of the art IT suite for the children.
Following the effects of the pandemic it has highlighted how in need of new technology we really are at Oakhurst. This year we want to help make a start by getting 15 iPads for the children, which we estimate will cost around £5000.
The PTFA would normally hold events throughout the school year, such as Halloween discos, Christmas and Summer fayres and other types of events to support raising funds for the school. However, this year is a little different and due to the pandemic we are unable to run these types of events. Instead, we are going to be having different types of events to try to continue the fund raising efforts to support your child's school and help them continue to make a difference.
We will let you know when these events are taking place and ask that any contributions you decide to make are made via gofundme.com.
We saw the power that the Oakhurst Community school has during lockdown in supporting each other so we know you will all do as much as you can to support this cause.
