Hello friends and family. As most of you know I volunteer coach pop warner football for the 7th/8th grade Almaden Mustangs team in San Jose.
Recently we won the Regional Championship game and gor invited to go to Florida to go to the ESPN/Disney sponsored Pop-Warner Super Bowl/National Championship tournaament. It would entitle flying to Orlando Florida for a week, playing at least two games and staying at a hotel for the week.
I have a fulltime job as a Electrician and live with my Girlfriend Navi and we make enough to get by, but not the kind of money that allows me to rake a un-paid week off as well as afford a plane ticket and herel to make this happen.
I would love to be there with/for the Coaching staff and team I helped get there and it would be a very special oppurtunity to take plce in this amazing event, but I need some help. If I could raise this money it could make that dream come true. So as much as I hate to ask, and this is my forst attempt at a go fund me, anything anyone would want to contribute as a early christmas or birthday present or just in support of my efforts or this cause would be appreciated and I would be extremely grateful!
The team has pretty much fund waised to pay for all the kids, coaches and parents are on thier own. I really love coaching and will continue to even if there are not Reno and Florida trips or ccs/state championships involved, but when you get there it is really something special and I’d love to be there with them and represent the bay!
