The Pomeroy Family Memorial Trip

The Pomeroy family, known to many of you through their establishment East Simpson Coffee Company here in Lafayette, Colorado, suffered a terrible loss last year. Lina, Bill’s eldest daughter, passed away from lung cancer August 14th, 2017, at the age of 48. A year later, Lina’s husband and children hope to hold a memorial for Lina in Vermont. Due to a series of medical issues Bill faced after returning from caring for Lina last summer (including most recently a quadruple bypass), the Pomeroys cannot afford a family trip to attend this memorial. Funds will aid in airfare, car rental, lodging, and other travel expenses for the family.
For the Pomeroys, being able to attend this memorial as a family will provide personal closure, and allow them to support Lina’s family during this time. [Lina leaves behind a husband and three children.] As difficult as this time is for everyone, it is an opportunity to celebrate Lina’s life and the impact she had on all those around her.
