Welcome to The Point Artist-Run-Centre’s Annual fundraiser, which every year supports creative programs while providing working opportunities for local and visiting artists. This year we’ve put a creative twist on this popular crowd funder. Your donations will be almost equally allocated to supporting 2021 Point Artist-Run-Centre programs and to compensating the artists you engage with when selecting reward offerings.
REDEEMING REWARDS
If you see a reward you like in the Online Rewards Gallery, don’t hesitate as rewards are offered for only a limited time. But don’t worry too much because new rewards are being dreamed up and released all the time!

LONG LIVE THE ARTS
Despite the challenges of the last many months, PARC has continued to engage its local creators, musicians, playwrights, actors, visual artists, AV technicians, and the community, with unique programs. PARC’s children’s theatre and music camps, the Flag Stop Theatre Mentorship program, Flag Stop Theatre & Arts Festival, and ongoing Sunday Artist Sessions have all been delivered with strong community support and participation. While the scope of activity has been restricted, PARC continues to deliver quality arts programming in a safe manner.
WE’LL BRING THE POINT TO YOU!
While many favourite events had to be cancelled this year, including our in-person annual fundraiser, PARC has found a way to bring The Point to you (while raising the critical funds necessary to keep the arts centre alive). The Point annual fundraiser has traditionally welcomed impressive numbers of locals, and a few lucky visitors, to enjoy live music, improv comedy, live art auctions, tasty food and drink, quirky themes, and a generally awesome night. This year, we are launching this rewards-heavy GoFundMe campaign, to accept your generous donations in exchange for many of the same creative experiences, like art pieces, live performances, private and group workshop spots, and other things that your local creatives dream up!
After making a donation, you will receive a Thank You message with the details required to ensure a satisfying reward experience.
All material rewards (such as a pottery piece or painting) will be a no-charge delivery to donors in the Sea to Sky. Out of region, province, and country donors may be required to pay additional delivery fees. Special instructions, including additional delivery will be specified along with reward descriptions (below). Many rewards will be offered virtually (such as Zoom, private acting lessons).
