The Plaskons Need Help

My name is Caley Plaskon, and my family has had a rough week. My dad, Mike, found out he had atrial fibrillation - which was worrying, but not very dangerous, until the doctors did one more test and found something much more serious. His heart is too big (no, really!) for its own aorta, the tube that leads out of it, which caused an aortic thoracic aneurysm. That's a bunch of big words most people don't know, but to put it simply, there is a bubble in his heart tubes, and if it pops, he will be gone in minutes. He's going to have open heart surgery within the next 2 weeks to prevent this (we don't know the exact date yet), and he will be out of work for months after that...
On top of all this, his mother, our Grandma Val, unexpectedly passed away this very afternoon. We desperately need your help with extensive medical bills, traveling costs associated with all six of us going to her funeral, and other bills we won't be able to pay due to this unique and troubling situation.
