who are the plant gays:

Hey! Thanks for supporting our dream of opening our first retail shop here in Columbus, OH!

We are Aidan & David the sole owners, employees & makers behind the plant gays. We have been hard at work growing our business this past year. It all started as a hobby, hand making concrete planters during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Our love for plants & design led us to expanding into a home décor & plant business. Aidan has an eye for design, he is the force behind our interior design service & works full time as an interior designer. On his days off you will find him at the shop! David makes all of our concrete products by hand & is always looking for what to create next! Our dream has always been to open our own shop that has a positive impact on the community. With your help, we will be opening our shop in the new East Market building, just south of Franklin Park. Very soon & our dream will become a reality! We would like to use our platform to raise awareness for the LGBTQIA community & continue to partner with local nonprofits.

the space:

As with any build out of a business, the cost almost always goes over budget. That’s where you all come in!

With your help, we will be able to pay for build out expenses & buy display furniture for our new shop! Any money raised will go directly to purchasing items to open our space at the East Market.

our goal:

The shop is looking to open within the next couple of months! To set up shop, we are setting out to raise $4,000 before we open on April 30th!
