<div>After  six months, the Peace &amp; Dignity Journey has crossed into Panama and will continue down to Colombia, where we will meet the Southern PDJ runners coming up from Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. The next four months will be challenging as we cross numerous borders, traverse tough terrain, and maintain our pace despite decreasing resources on the ground. Your support for gas, equipment, and vehicle maintenance is crucial to helping us complete this inspiring prayer run.

<div>Our Story:

<div>In 1990, over 200 representatives of Indigenous nations from throughout the Western Hemisphere met for the first time in Quito, Ecuador. There they witnessed the unfolding prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor. The inspiration of spiritual running to reunite the nations of Turtle Island surfaced from the elders. Elders from North, Central, and South America remembered and talked about a prophecy that foretold how we would come together and reunite as one… “We are like a body that was broken up into pieces and this body will come back together to be whole again.” Peace and dignity Journeys became part of that realization.

<div>Through Peace &amp; Dignity Journeys, numerous and diverse indigenous nations from throughout this continent can reunite and reclaim dignity for themselves through their traditions. This run, which takes place every 4 years, is dedicated to healing our nations and strives to bring the sacred staffs to as many communities as possible. To do so again, a lot of support is needed. We accept and are grateful for support in all forms - whether in prayer, use of space, gifts of clothes, supplies, skills, or time. Since you're here, you may be considering a monetary gift. If you are able to donate, please know that your gift will put gas in our vehicles, help us maintain the vehicles, and assist with runner travel costs as they make their 7,500-mile-plus journey (and then home!). We can only do this together!
