Paul "Skip" Johnson Auditorium Sign!

Donation protected
The Hudson School Committee has recently approved the naming of the HHS auditorium for Paul “Skip” Johnson, a Hudson Educator for thirty-two years.

This comes via the efforts of this petition,  in which more than 2300 members of the town and Metrowest area endorsed.

While the Hudson School Committee approved the petition and echoed the community's support to name the Auditorium, the cost of the sign will fall to friends of Skip.  The expense of putting in new signage is pretty substantial and labor intensive, so the Auditorium Naming Petitioners have decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign seeking donations to help. We appreciate whatever support you can give.

After expenses for the ceremony, any monies not used for the signage will be happily donated to the Paul Johnson Performing Arts Scholarship at Hudson High School which was established in 2002.

A ceremony for Paul will take place on October 20th at the soon to be dedicated space. To help commemorate the day, we’ll be unveiling new signage honoring Paul’s name and legacy. Information on this ceremony can be found here .

Our current goal is $10k, which will cover the cost of the sign, labor to install and expenses the ceremony will command.  We appreciate your help, and on behalf of both the Johnsons and everyone Skip has influenced and inspired, we are incredibly grateful for your support.
