This is Pieter, organiser and composer of The Orange Ensemble. We believe in simple, joyful music.

The music that we make can be best described as an eclectic mix between classical music, and traditional music from all around the world. This year we have worked very hard on a lot of new music and we have enough material ready to record our first album!

Making an album is not cheap. As an organiser I also believe in fair treatment of all the people that I work with. This means paying them properly for the amount of work that they do.

Although we are backed by funding, we still need extra money to be able to put this project into the world.

We would be very grateful for any support you send our way.

 

During the process, I will give insight to where the money is going. I see no reason why I should not be transparent about this

Ik ben Pieter, de organisator en componist van The Orange Ensemble. Wij spelen simpele, speelse muziek.

De muziek die we maken kan het beste omschreven worden als een eclectische mix tussen klassieke muziek, en traditionele muziek van over de hele wereld. Dit jaar hebben we enorm hard gewerkt, en we hebben genoeg materiaal om een album mee op te nemen!

Het opnemen van een album is niet goedkoop. Als organisator vind ik het ook belangrijk dat alle mensen waarmee ik samenwerk goed uitbetaald krijgen. Hoewel we onder andere geld binnen krijgen van een fonds van SENA, hebben we nog steeds meer geld nodig om het project te kunnen doen. 3000 euro om precies te zijn.

 

In het proces zal ik inzage geven waar het geld precies naartoe gaat. Ik zie geen reden om daar niet transparant in te zijn

Ik zal een shirt dragen met je gezicht er op tijdens de albumopnames.
