The STEM Club at the Old Library Community Hub in Eastville aims to inspire local children and their families to engage with science and engineering in a playful and inquisitive way.
With the support from our amazing volunteer STEM Ambassadors, we explore mechanics, coding, chemistry, biology, ecology, electricity and much more. The Club is aimed to challenge stereotypes around science and engineering whilst nurturing creativity, problem-solving and collaboration skills. It also provides an opportunity to socialise and enjoy our beautiful space & garden! To keep everyone sustained and suitably energised, we provide some healthy snack options for the kids and tea & coffee for parents and carers.
We want to keep the Club as accessible as possible, which is why it is provided free of charge, with the help of some UWE Bristol funding. However, if you would like to donate to the Club and the Old Library Community Space, you can do it here! We appreciate any support from our community, financial or otherwise. Please also get in touch should you have any further comments or suggestions.
A heartfelt thank you from STEM Club! :)
