The Nicholas Stewart Project
Donation protected
The Nicholas Stewart Project (NSP) was set up by Mrs Beckford following the fatal stabbing of her son Nicholas Stewart August 2014. He was Boshando’s younger brother.
The aim of the NSP is to support young people, empower them and provide them with a framework to become successful and contributing members of their local communities.
What have been doing:
-Working closely with the local community to raise awareness of knife/gang related crime through presentations in Schools, speaking at events and participating in forum discussions
-Working with Schools to provide our Rethink Mentoring Programme
-Offering support services for grieving families
Please visit our website for more information: https://www.nicholasstewartproject.co.uk/
We will be having our Annual Community Fun Day on Tuesday 27th August 2019
Time: 12:00pm - 7:00pm
Theme: Remembering our Children and Families
The day will see educational, health and well-being stalls, food and sports activities including football, group therapy, art workshop, mini concert!
We would like to raise funds to have my daughter Nicholas elder Sister to come and support me on the day. I usually fund this independently but is not able to do so this year. My daughter has been a great support with this project and has also been helping me to cope over the years.
