The New Jersey Firemen’s Home – established in 1898 – is the ONLY licensed health care facility in the State of New Jersey whose primary mission is dedicated to the men and women of the New Jersey Fire Service. Located on the historic Lathrop Estates in Boonton, NJ – the Firemen’s Home provides both long term care and residential health care services. Providing outstanding service – delivered by a loyal and caring staff - has made the Firemen’s Home a TRUSTED and RESPECTED choice for many of New Jersey’s Bravest.

Established by an act of the New Jersey Legislature and given as a gift from the Lathrop family, the New Jersey Firemen’s Home is a RELIABLE life care choice for those who have faithfully served the residents of our State.

Currently, The New Jersey Fireman’s Home is struggling with a Coronavirus Outbreak which has resulted in at least one fatality, they need our help.  Twenty-Six (26) residents of the long term facility, which opened in 1898, have tested positive for COVID-19, along with 19 staff members, according to daily updates posted on the home’s website.

This page is a grassroots effort by local active firefighters to support our bravest retired brother and sisters along with the healthcare workers that are on the front lines with providing support to our brother and sisters.  Please donate, all proceeds will be directly funded for PPE for the home.
