<div>I am fundraising to support children of poorer families in Western Nepal and the conservation of the Karnali river in Western Nepal.

<div>The initial funding of this project was to assist in completing 'The Nepal Traverse Diary' a documentary-style adventure film about the first solo VolBiv paragliding adventure across the length of the Nepal Himalayas, starting at the Far-West of Nepal on the Indian border. The film captures the vast remoteness and natural beauty of the Nepali Himalayas, as I, the solo paraglider pilot overcome the challenges of paragliding alone and unsupported, but never far from the generous hospitality of the local people.

<div>The adventure was attempted between February and March 2020, but because of challenging weather conditions and the impending Covid-19 restrictions, I was unable to complete the entire journey and finished at a halfway point in Pokhara. Fortunately, I had captured enough film rushes to be able to complete the film.

<div><a href="https://vimeo.com/user5139062" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Martin Cray</a> filmed the pre and post-adventure interviews in the UK. He also edited and produced the finished film.

<div>The Nepal Traverse Diary film is being submitted to adventure, mountain and free flight film festivals here in the UK and Worldwide. And I will be giving talks across the UK, to share the adventure in person, please contact me directly for details.

<div>Ultimately the end purpose of ensuring we create a film that wins awards and generates interest and will produce a small profit which will be gifted to two Nepali charities; <a href="https://www.karnaliriver.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Save the Karnali River</a> which is the last free flowing river in Nepal and helping to support education and tackle poverty of Nepali children through the <a href="https://www.karmaflights.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Karma Flights</a> organisation. Any profits from the talks (and film royalties which I receive) will be donated to these worthwhile charities.
