The Murray Family Crisis

My friends, the Murray Family, have undergone much difficulty over the years. In 2004 Jason discovered that due to a work incident, his kidneys were failing. After many uncomfortable months on dialysis, both Jason and Lynda underwent surgery for Lynda to donate Jason one of her own kidneys. Being a transplant patient is no easy life, major lifestyle changes were undergone to maximize the health of Jason’s new kidney and to balance his health with the numerous medications he needs to take every day. This, along with needing to protect himself from common illnesses due to his suppressed immune system, creates a household that is run a little differently than the cultural norm. This is the only life their three children have ever known, and they thrive in their loving environment. Now, after 13 years, Jason’s transplanted kidney is failing. Jason is mentally and spiritually strong, but right now physically weak, spending 18+ hours every week in dialysis, frequently physically ill, and unable to work the job that he has done for the past 20 years. Lynda is hard at work keeping the household going, homeschooling the 3 kids, taking care of the house, their property, and their animals. There is presently not any way to pay their monthly expenses, so we are asking for some help for them to pay their way through until they are able to find another kidney donor and go through transplant surgery again. This family is hard-working, full of love, and all five of them have the grit to get things done. I would love to see the money stressor disappear for now, so they can focus on their time together and the things that truly matter.
